One Month of Daily Posts on Medium
Day #1 of a social experiment
I recently watched a great webinar by travel blogger and popular Medium writer Tom Kuegler. His story really resonated with me…
Tom started as a freelancer making $10 per hour. After graduating from college, he went on a cross-country road trip, ultimately to become a “travel blogger”.
Today, Tom has more than 43K followers on Medium, is a top writer in social media, writing, creativity, and others, and has even been featured on The Huffington Post.
All this to say, when Tom spoke, I was eager to listen.
The webinar
How To Make An Extra $1,000 Per Month On Medium
Super informative, relatively short and great actionable steps to grow a Medium following and make more money along the way.
Wow.
The guys had some serious knowledge and wisdom that I simply don’t have.
So, I decided to implement one of the main takeaways from his webinar.
Publish every day.
Over the next 30 days, my goal is to publish one Medium post a day.
300–500 words.
Then, at the end of my 30 day experiment, I’ll review my findings and analyze how it went.
Day #1 Stats:
- 21 total stories published
- Total earnings of $3.57 since joining Medium in Sept 2018
- 287 views, 150 reads and 27 fans in the past 30 days

All in all
Not only will this be super interesting, but it’ll also be a great learning opportunity for me. I’m still growing as a writer, and forcing myself to hit the publish button every day will help me get my thoughts onto paper (metaphorically).
My next 30 posts may be sporadic, so please bear with me. In the end, I think I’ll have a great experiment to look back on. If nothing else, an additional 30 experiences getting my thoughts onto paper.
