Not too bad for my first project. 1,000 word article for $60, however, Upwork takes $12 of that. So, $48 ends up in my pocket.

My goal for the first couple of projects is simply to get experience and build my portfolio of work on Upwork. Long term this will benefit me more than seeking out the highest paying projects initially.
