I’ll give it to you straight. When it comes to getting in better shape, the only thing that really matters is consistency.

Consistency above all else — exercise method, quantity, frequency, etc. — is what will make or break your fitness gains.

It honestly doesn’t take much more than 30 minutes a day to get in great shape. However, the difficult part is finding the consistency to work out 30 minutes a day over a long period of time.

Progress isn’t made overnight. Progress happens with incremental, consistent action over the long term. The longer you can stay consistent, the better shape you will find yourself in.

Progress = Incremental Change (30 mins/day) x Consistency (long period of time)
