Exactly! This is exactly how I got started. SLOW & STEADY. Running is VERY different from any other discipline, as such, our bodies need time to adapt to the stress it puts on our joints, ligaments, etc.
Agreed with the ‘get up and go’ mentality. If I give yourself too much time to contemplate or decide, I usually end up talking myself out of it. The faster I can get out on the run, the better i’ll feel and the more it makes that next decision easier.
