All readers care about is what you can do for them. At the end of the day, the reader is only showing up to get something from your article.
It could be motivation, inspiration, actionable advice, education, or even a laugh — but the reader only cares about what they can take away from reading your article.
As Genius Turner once said:
“He who consistently churns out viral articles is he who consistently solves problems.”
When you approach the writing process from this perspective, you’ll more than likely create something that a reader wants to read. Something that adds value and solves a problem the reader is experiencing.
The formula for success is simple: add value to the reader at all costs.
